Silver tourmalinated quartz pendant

Sterling silver pendant with a 18x13mm oval genuine tourmalinated quartz stone weighing a whopping 12.29 carat.  A nice scroll design on the side of the pendant and a 24" box link chain.  I have included a close-up image of the stone.  You can see the black lines.

What is  tourmalinated quartz?

Tourmalinated Quartz is clear quartz which has grown together with black tourmaline and shows lines of the black tourmaline running through the quartz.  The stone naturally forms like this. There are no treatments here, it's all naturally formed in the earth.
